Starting Solids & Baby-Led Weaning

Introducing solids to your baby is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. We’ll guide you to help ensure your baby gets the nutrients she needs and builds lifelong healthy eating habits. In this workshop we cover Baby Led Weaning vs. puree feeding approaches, which foods to offer and when, and will address concerns such as choking and allergies. You’ll take home healthy recipes perfect for feeding the family.

Ideal for parents of babies ages 4-8 months. Babies welcome!

Fearlessly Feeding Your Toddler & Preschooler

Do you have a picky eater, or want to avoid having one? Are mealtime battles and frustrations a regular thing in your home? It doesn’t have to be this way. We will share expert advice and effective strategies so that you can take back mealtime and feel great about feeding your family. Bonus: E-recipe book including some of my favourite, tried-and-true recipes for toddlers and preschoolers.

Some of the topics covered include:

How to build a positive feeding relationship with your child

Toddler & Preschool nutrition: How much food do they need per day? What nutrients are critical at this age?

Milk: How much, and what kinds?

Picky eating: Common mistakes parents make and tricks of the trade to prevent it

Sweets and treats: How to manage them in a healthy way

Snacks: What makes a great snack, and why are they so important?

This workshop is ideal for parents or caregivers of toddlers and preschool-aged kids (approx. 1 to 5 years old).

Pre-crawling babies are welcome. Unfortunately we can’t accommodate older babies or toddlers/preschoolers.
