Starting Solids & Baby-Led Weaning

Introducing solids to your baby is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. We’ll guide you to help ensure your baby gets the nutrients she needs and builds lifelong healthy eating habits. In this workshop we cover Baby Led Weaning vs. puree feeding approaches, which foods to offer and when, and will address concerns such as choking and allergies. You’ll take home healthy and practical recipes perfect for feeding the family.

Ideal for parents of babies ages 4-8 months. Babies welcome!

Healthy Eating for Pregnancy

Proper nourishment during these nine months has a lasting impact on the health of both you and your baby. Pregnancy also places extra nutritional demands on a woman’s body. But information on what foods to eat during pregnancy can be confusing and contradictory. We’ll share the latest evidence on which foods and nutrients are safe and important so you can enjoy this special time. We will also address common nutrition concerns you may be having in pregnancy (such as nausea, heartburn and gestational diabetes), and discuss your nutritional needs during labour and in the postnatal period.

Ideal for pregnant women and their partners, midwives, doulas, OBs/GPs and other individuals working with pregnant women
